Aircraft Systems Analyst Level II

About The Position

KBR is searching for an experienced Aircraft Systems Analyst to study, design, prepare specifications, and perform services related to reliability research and analysis. The role involves working with government and contractor team members, assisting in the effective use of reliability software for documentation, and drafting reports, papers, and presentations on analysis results. The analyst will also perform basic statistical and cost analysis, participate in team meetings and interviews, and maintain professional working relationships. Key responsibilities include overseeing the collection, sorting, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, and coordinating technical data within established procedures and schedules.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma (BA/BS Preferred)
  • Over 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of fourth generation fighter aircraft preferably F-15, F-16
  • Working knowledge of aircraft mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems and support equipment
  • Proficient in the use of Air Force or civilian technical manuals, policies and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Knowledge of technical report writing/editing
  • Knowledge of creating meeting minutes
  • Knowledge of briefing material preparation
  • Ability to create and assist in the development of technical documents
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Proficient with similar database/analysis/reporting software
  • Experience operating within Government-provided environments
  • Experience working on military installations and test facilities
  • Familiarity with FAR 52.245-1 requirements for property accountability
  • Familiarity with proper handling of Government Furnished Information (GFI) and sensitive technical data
  • Ability to establish priorities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to proceed with objectives without supervision
