Aircraft Support, Parts and Warranty Technician
About The Position
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking to hire an Aircraft Support, Parts & Warranty Technician to support the Flight Training fleet at the Daytona Beach Campus. This position is responsible for inventory management, parts procurement, shipping and receiving operations, and warranty support for aircraft, engines, accessories, and avionics. The successful candidate will work closely with Aircraft Maintenance and Avionics Technicians, Repair Station Management, and vendors to ensure the availability of critical aircraft components needed to support daily flight operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated proficiency in grammar, spelling, basic composition, and mathematics
- Strong analytical skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/Email, and Internet applications
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory and tracking records
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively with vendors, maintenance personnel, and university stakeholders
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in aviation parts inventory, logistics, supply chain, or maintenance support operations
- Knowledge of aircraft parts identification, inventory tracking, and warranty administration
- Familiarity with aviation maintenance environments and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Experience supporting aircraft maintenance or repair station operations
