Aircraft Structures Sealant Mechanic (C01XN3)
About The Position
Perform assembly and installation work on aerospace structural parts and sub-assemblies. Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, drills, sealers, and precision measuring instruments. Perform drilling, sealing, countersinking, painting, varnishing, and fastener installation. Complete quality inspections, continuity checks, and basic functional testing. Support rework, repairs, and modification work as needed. Move materials, tools, and parts within the manufacturing area. Report production or tooling issues and document discrepancies. Perform basic machine maintenance and support production workflow. Assist and support team members when required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR regulations)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with structural assembly and sub-assembly operations preferred
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes preferred
