This role focuses on Aircraft Structural Dynamics, specifically involving aeroelasticity and aeroservoelasticity analyses for new aircraft designs and the continued airworthiness of in-service aircraft. The engineer will utilize engineering judgment to select appropriate methods and tools for complex issue resolution, prepare and maintain finite element models, and develop/document in-house software and methods. Collaboration with other engineering disciplines such as Advanced Design, Aerodynamics, Structures, Mass Properties, Flight Controls, and Control Laws is essential. The position also involves supporting ground vibration testing (GVT) and flight flutter testing (FFT), including post-processing of results, and documenting analyses in engineering certification reports and presentations.
