We’re hiring an Aircraft Refueler—someone who’s mechanically inclined, works outdoors in all conditions, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. Weekend shifts may be required after training. As a 24/7 operation, we have openings across all shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and 12-hour schedules. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work any shift based on operational needs. Overtime—both scheduled and unscheduled, including holidays—may also be required.

Requirements

Ability to organize and plan work while adhering to deadlines
Working knowledge of aircraft refueling techniques
Strong attention to detail and solid mathematical skills
Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
Ability to safely drive and operate a standard shift vehicle and other applicable equipment
Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
High school diploma or equivalent required
Current valid Arizona driver’s license with a clear driving record for the past three years required

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary education or training in aircraft refueling or airport support operations preferred
Experience in aircraft refueling preferred

Responsibilities

Research technical data and perform refueling operations in accordance with ATA 103 Standard
Test and calibrate fuel components, company special tools, and ground equipment per maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and Ascent Aviation policies and procedures
Monitor bulk fuel storage: receiving, dispensing, inventory, and quality control
Maintain fuel farm and truck inspection records: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual
Perform aircraft fuel sales to company, customer, military, and transit aircraft
Fuel and operate ground support equipment (GSE)
Conduct runway and taxiway inspections, including FOD pickup and sweeping
Inspect fuel systems and identify leaks or discrepancies
Test fuel samples prior to all defuel operations before transferring to truck or fuel farm system
Perform miscellaneous duties related to aircraft fuel systems, including annual filter changes and hose replacements
Ensure customer requirements and needs are met
Escort and assist with parking of incoming aircraft
Support DOD aircraft by loading, unloading, and providing GSE support
Ensure all work is performed safely and participate in activities that maintain safe working conditions
