The Aircraft Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that assigned aircraft are maintained within required specifications of 14 CFR Parts 43, 91 and 125 and other FAA and DOD regulations, OEM instructions and CBP directives as required and are airworthy before operation. This role involves inspecting the work of Aircraft Mechanics, applying technical knowledge to ensure proper equipment installation and operation, and solving complex problems by interpreting technical documentation. The inspector will also make entries in aircraft logs and records, provide guidance to technicians, and perform various quality inspections during maintenance, modification, and repair of military tactical aircraft systems.
