About The Position

Collier Mosquito Control District is seeking a motivated and experienced Aircraft Parts Manager to join their aviation team. This role is responsible for managing aircraft parts inventory, procurement, tracking, and compliance with FAA regulations, ensuring all components are available, documented, and airworthy. The work supports aerial mosquito control operations and contributes to innovative, environmentally responsible strategies that serve the community.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and recordkeeping.
  • Experience managing aircraft parts, inventory systems, and procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations related to parts traceability and documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with maintenance technicians, vendors, and supervisors.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Reliability, accountability, and regular on-site attendance.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in aircraft parts management, aviation logistics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations, airworthiness documentation, and parts certification (8130-3, traceability, etc.).
  • Experience with inventory management systems and computerized tracking programs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and parts catalogs.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift and handle aircraft parts and supplies.
  • Willingness to attend training and professional development opportunities.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Veryon inventory tracking.
  • Experience with pesticide application systems, fabrication, welding, painting, or custom tooling is a plus.
