The incumbent is responsible to service, troubleshoot, repair and inspect aircraft to ensure airworthiness. This role involves performing maintenance on Ground Support equipment, preflight/post-flight turnaround inspections and servicing, and maintaining aircraft logbooks and historical data. The position requires compliance with safety, foreign object damage, and tool control program requirements, as well as washing, waxing, cleaning, and maintaining the exterior and interior of aircraft. The Aircraft Mechanic serves as a point of contact with the Quality Assurance Representative and advises management of problems that may delay scheduled delivery of aircraft. They ensure materials issued for assigned tasks are correct and provide on-the-job training to new employees. Additionally, they assist with supervision and inspect maintenance performed by FAA-certified and non-certified personnel, service oxygen, nitrogen, tires, oil, and hydraulic systems, and perform Corrosion Control checks. The role also includes greeting visitors and clients, exhibiting positive courteous behavior, and assisting coworkers. All safety procedures and practices established by the Company and regulatory bodies must be followed.
