About The Position

The Aircraft Mechanic provides on-site and off-site maintenance, flight and Functional Check Flight operations, and phase maintenance in support of US Army Ft. Rucker. Work is performed in accordance with current Army directives, including AR 95-1 and AR 95-20, and includes maintenance test flights, fault isolation and troubleshooting, and phase maintenance processes. The position also provides aviation maintenance and repair services and developmental and operational test and evaluation support for aircraft, aviation systems, and associated support equipment. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA A&P license or completion of a military aircraft repairer school for the AH-64 Delta or Echo model.
• At least 6 years of aircraft maintenance experience on rotary-wing aircraft; Army Aviation maintenance experience is required.
• Military installation organizational and intermediate-level maintenance experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass an Aircraft Mechanic skills assessment test.
• Experience in safety, documentation, HAZMAT, training, licenses and certifications, scheduling, production control, and management.
• Analytical ability and knowledge and application of assurance principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, flight and Functional Check Flight operations, and phase maintenance support for US Army Ft. Rucker.
• Complete maintenance test flights, fault isolation and troubleshooting, and phase maintenance processes in accordance with applicable Army directives.
• Provide aviation maintenance and repair services, including organizational and intermediate-level maintenance and phase maintenance support.
• Support developmental and operational test and evaluation of aircraft, aviation systems, and associated support equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
