ARS is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic (UH-60) to work in Honolulu, HI. This role involves performing advanced maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of UH-60 Black Hawk aircraft, airframes, systems, components, and powerplant-related systems. The mechanic will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, remove, replace, adjust, and install mechanical components and assemblies in accordance with technical manuals and maintenance procedures. Key systems include flight controls, rotor systems, engines, transmissions, hydraulic, fuel, landing gear, pneumatic, mechanical, and airframe components. The position requires diagnosing complex malfunctions, performing repairs, and interpreting technical data such as manuals, blueprints, and schematics. The mechanic will use specialized aviation maintenance equipment, evaluate mechanical systems, and support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. This role also involves providing technical troubleshooting assistance, coordinating maintenance activities, documenting actions accurately, and providing technical guidance to junior mechanics. All work must adhere to technical publications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
