The incumbent is responsible to service, troubleshoot, repair and inspect aircraft to ensure airworthiness. This role involves inspecting and certifying aircraft, troubleshooting system malfunctions, documenting maintenance, removing and replacing defective components, and complying with service bulletins and airworthiness directives. The position also includes performing maintenance on Ground Support Equipment, conducting preflight/post flight inspections, maintaining aircraft logbooks, and adhering to safety, foreign object damage, and tool control programs. Additionally, the role requires cleaning and maintaining the aircraft's exterior and interior, serving as a point of contact with the Quality Assurance Representative, advising management on potential delays, ensuring correct materials and documentation for repairs, and providing on-the-job training to new employees. The mechanic will also assist with supervision and inspection of maintenance performed by other personnel, service various aircraft systems, and inspect for and treat corrosion. The position emphasizes positive customer and coworker interactions and adherence to all safety procedures.
