About The Position

An Aircraft Mechanic III – Mechanic Performing repairs, modifications and installations on C-12 aircraft. Ability to troubleshoot, rig and operational check/test engines: P&W PT6A-41, PT6A-42, PT6A-60 PT6A-65 turbo props. Operates ground support equipment and flight line vehicles. Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions, technical manuals and/or directives necessary for the accomplishment of job assignment. Must be proficient at sheet metal repairs.

Requirements

• Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license required
• 5+ years C-12 (A200/B200/B300/1900) experience.
• 5+ years Pratt & Whitney turbo prop engine experience (PT6A-41, PT6A-42, PT6A-60, PT6A-65)
• 5+ years’ experience of Airframe, mechanical and electrical systems
• Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions, technical manuals and/or directives necessary for the accomplishment of job assignment.
• Must be proficient at sheet metal repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks as assigned /directed by Maintenance Supervisor, and/or Site Manager in accordance with instructions, applicable technical data, manuals, and directives.
• Evaluates aircraft discrepancies to identify proper methods for repair.
• Identifies necessary parts, materials and tooling requirements to complete task.
• Utilize manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, Maintenance Engineering Directives, schematics, drawings, blueprints, charts and other applicable publications to install, test, troubleshoot and ensure aircraft modifications are accomplished in a timely manner.
• Inspect for corrosion, treat and repair discrepancies.
• Perform touch up painting and apply decals and labels.
• Prepare aircraft components for paint.
• Remove and replace engines, accomplish engine rigging and test.
• Comply with and follow established standards of workmanship, safety, quality, and production.
