The Aircraft Mechanic II (Flight Line) - AV-8B Program position involves testing, troubleshooting, installation, removal, inspection, repair, alignment, and rigging of various aircraft systems and components. The role requires the mechanic to obtain and maintain specific designations and certifications, such as Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) and Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR), along with qualifications for engine turn-ups, towing, brake riding, and HAZMAT handling. The mechanic will work under the direction of the government's work center supervisor on systems including scheduled/unscheduled inspections, F402 engines, fuel systems, lubrication systems, starting and ignition systems, and applicable support equipment and publications. A minimum capability to test, troubleshoot, install, remove, inspect, repair, and align/rig systems and components is essential.
