About The Position

Supporting the Special Communication Mission Solutions (SCMS) Division at NAWCAD WOLF, specializing in Aircraft communications and other electronic installations. This position is contingent upon funding.

Requirements

At least two years of hands-on experience in modifying airframes to accept complex C5ISR systems, routing and installation of complex avionics wire-harnesses, and modification of secure airborne communication relays, electronic warfare systems, or mission equipment.
Relevant experience with one or more of the following airframes: H-60 Black Hawk or Seahawk variants (MH-60M, MH-60R, MH-60S); V-22 Osprey (CV-22 and/or MV-22); H-53 Stallion series (MH-53, CH-53); C-130 Hercules or Hercules variants (AC-130, MC-130); F/A-18 Hornet or Super Hornet; E-2C/D Hawkeye; King Air or C-12 Huron variants; P-8A Poseidon.
U.S. Citizenship
U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Top Secret level

Nice To Haves

Former Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, or Navy personnel who held the following occupational codes, as applicable to service branch: USAF: 2A2X1, 2A6X6, 2A7X3; Army: 15Y, 15G; Marine Corps: 6400 series. MOS 6491 is preferred; Navy: AT, AM, AE
Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license

Responsibilities

Modifying airframes to accept complex Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems
Routing and installation of complex avionics wire-harnesses
Modification of secure airborne communication relays, electronic warfare systems, or mission equipment
