About The Position

Join the CXO MX team, a proud subsidiary of High Performance Aviation, LLC, and begin your career in aircraft maintenance with a strong foundation. We are looking for a motivated Aircraft Mechanic A&P to work at the Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport. Our focus is on maintaining general aviation piston aircraft to the highest standards of safety and reliability. In this entry-level role as an Airframe and Powerplant Technician, you’ll support a wide range of maintenance and inspection tasks while gaining valuable experience under the guidance of senior technicians. This is a great opportunity for newly licensed mechanics looking to grow in a professional GA environment.

Requirements

  • Certified A&P Mechanic (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with GA piston aircraft (Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, etc.)
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and AD research
  • Exposure to aviation maintenance software systems

Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing 100-hour and annual inspections
  • Remove, replace, and reinstall parts under supervision
  • Perform oil changes, tire and brake servicing, and cleaning tasks
  • Learn and assist with troubleshooting squawks and documenting discrepancies
  • Help maintain shop cleanliness, tool organization, and safety compliance
  • Practice accurate logbook and maintenance tracking entries (non-certifying)
  • Participate in ongoing on-the-job training with senior mechanics
