The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for all facets of the preventive maintenance and repair of airplanes to ensure aircraft are airworthy and all technical aspects are documented properly. This role involves performing routine and non-routine maintenance, referencing technical manuals, and ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the highest standards of workmanship. The technician will also maintain facilities and equipment, uphold safety and security, and may be required to obtain special qualifications. They are responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of all performed work and reporting any potential issues immediately. Additionally, the technician may instruct less experienced employees and could be delegated by the Director of Quality Control for clearing and signing off on inspected items, provided they did not perform the work themselves.
