Aircraft Maintenance Technician - A&P
About The Position
Premier Jet Center FCM is a Minneapolis-based, full-service general aviation company located at Flying Cloud Airport. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician - A&P performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a range of general aviation aircraft, including Piper, Cessna, Pilatus, Hawker, Beechcraft, Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Cirrus. The position involves working independently and collaboratively on maintenance projects. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Employment is subject to the company’s drug-free workplace policy, including pre-employment testing. FAA and DOT applicants who become employees are also subject to random, reasonable-cause, reasonable-suspicion, and post-accident testing.
Requirements
- Current A&P license.
- At least three years of experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Cessna, Pilatus, Learjet, King Air, Cheyenne, Citation, and/or Cirrus aircraft is preferred.
- Experience in general aviation, commercial aviation, or the military is welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality inspections, including 100-hour, annual, and phase-type inspections.
- Test, adjust, repair, and perform other general maintenance and repair tasks on airframe systems and components.
- Troubleshoot, fit, and install complex structural assemblies.
- Research and use appropriate technical data.
- Order general and aircraft parts as needed.
- Prepare required documentation for record keeping in accordance with company policy and FAA regulations, including work orders and personal training logs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director and Maintenance Leads.
