About The Position

We are hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to support aerospace vehicle maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, and flightworthiness activities. This role supports aircraft and aerospace systems through component assembly and replacement, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting, bench testing, validation and verification testing, inspections, and maintenance documentation required for contractual and regulatory compliance.

  • High school diploma or GED and typically 4+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Equivalent education and experience may include vocational school or an associate degree plus 2 years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree, or a comparable combination.
  • Experience assembling, disassembling, modifying, maintaining, repairing, or overhauling aerospace vehicle systems and components.
  • Experience troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience performing system and component validation, verification, testing, inspection, and repair activities.
  • Knowledge of maintenance documentation and established processes used to support contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience inspecting components and verifying repairs for flightworthiness requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, disassemble, modify, remove, replace, and upgrade aerospace vehicle systems and components to correct failures and implement required changes.
  • Oversee aircraft assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and overhaul activities.
  • Configure aerospace vehicles, systems, and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to isolate faults and repair defective components.
  • Perform validation and verification testing of aerospace systems and components.
  • Inspect components and verify completed repairs meet flightworthiness requirements.
  • Document maintenance procedures, repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection results in accordance with established processes and contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee technical training activities.
  • Perform assigned work under general direction.
