Performs preventive maintenance, repair, modifications and other maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment in accordance with standards and regulations. This role involves troubleshooting aircraft systems, executing maintenance work orders, and ensuring all work is completed in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. The technician will utilize various tools and equipment, verify the serviceability of parts, and adhere to material handling procedures. Safety is paramount, and the technician must evaluate work areas and equipment to ensure safety is not compromised. The role also includes maintaining a clean work environment, updating supervisors on progress, reviewing paperwork, and completing necessary documentation and computer system transactions. Additionally, the technician will provide on-the-job training, adhere to work schedules, and suggest improvements for safety and cost-effectiveness. Familiarity with company intranet, GMM, and aircraft manuals is required, as is maintaining up-to-date licenses and certifications.
