The Aircraft Branch Flightline Supervisor provides senior-level oversight of aircraft maintenance operations in direct support of the 89th Airlift Wing’s executive airlift mission. This role involves formulating, managing, planning, and scheduling training for personnel to ensure proficiency in maintaining aircraft. The supervisor coordinates maintenance efforts to ensure mission-scheduled aircraft are Fully Mission Capable (FMC), reviews aircraft records for accuracy and completeness, and manages a significant flightline section including an expeditor team responsible for daily servicing, maintenance, and aircraft positioning. Emphasis is placed on safety, housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) awareness, and adherence to HAZCOM and HAZMAT programs. The position also involves reviewing quality assurance reports, managing aircraft documentation (781 forms and CAMS), assisting with parts requisition and repair, ensuring ground safety, managing continuous on-the-job-training (OJT), and providing performance reviews. The supervisor co-chairs scheduling meetings, works with Program Managers on compliance with service bulletins and airworthiness directives, and manages Programmed Depot Maintenance inputs. Duties may also include temporary duty (TDY), travel, and filling in for management roles. The role requires the ability to work various shifts, including days, second, third, and/or weekend shifts.
