About The Position
Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join their Maintenance Department as an Aircraft Maintenance Planner. The primary responsibility of this role is to plan and prepare production schedules that support the overall strategic plan of the Maintenance Department. This includes scheduling Engineering Orders, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives, and ensuring the availability of necessary parts and personnel. The successful candidate will have previous experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Clear driving record
- 10-year Criminal History Records Check
- Drug screen as required
- Proof of high school or GED completion
- Minimum 18 years of age
Nice To Haves
- Previous airline experience
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business, or related field
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare production schedules that support the overall strategic plan of the Maintenance department
- Coordinate with the Maintenance department to ensure adequate staffing
- Coordinate with Materials Support for material requirements
- Schedule Engineering Orders, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives, and ensure availability of parts and personnel
- Compile and issue daily maintenance work packages consisting of scheduled maintenance, Service Bulletins, trend work orders and pilot discrepancies
- Perform duties of the maintenance scheduler in their absence
