About The Position

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join its Maintenance Department as an Aircraft Maintenance Parts Clerk. The primary responsibility is performing storeroom duties, including stocking and inventorying parts and supplies and monitoring shelf life. The position reports to the Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor.

The work takes place in an airport ramp and warehouse environment, with varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels. The position involves all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular shifts, and requires some travel. Employment is contingent on a valid driver’s license and clear driving record, a 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and a drug screen. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and provide proof of high school or GED completion.

Requirements

• Storeroom, inventory, or warehouse experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• Pass a 10-year Criminal History Records Check and drug screen.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Proof of high school or GED completion.

Nice To Haves

• Training in HAZMAT shipping and handling.

Responsibilities

• Issue parts and supplies.
• Ensure proper packaging and handling during shipping and receiving.
• Handle electrostatic-sensitive device (ESD) parts.
• Stock and inventory parts and supplies and monitor shelf life.
• Occasionally travel by road between maintenance bases.
