Have your career take off with us! As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) on our Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of our fleet. This role is well suited to someone with a broad, hands-on understanding of complex aircraft systems, including structural maintenance and select avionics and electronic systems work. You will be responsible for performing and certifying aircraft maintenance in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), approved maintenance standards, and AirSprint procedures. The ideal candidate is passionate about aviation, brings a high level of technical knowledge across multiple systems, and applies strong troubleshooting skills to ensure aircraft are maintained to the highest safety standards. At AirSprint, AME starting salaries are aligned with experience and years licensed, recognizing the skills and expertise each technician brings. Compensation starts on day one, with annual increases tied to performance. We offer a $10,000 CAD signing bonus (subject to applicable taxes and deductions), paid within 30 days of the employee’s start date. AME M2 includes ACA. ACA salary scale is calculated at 7% of the base salary for AMEs holding signing authority on two or more aircraft types. It is the department’s expectation and intent that all AMEs achieve and maintain ACA on a minimum of two aircraft types, thereby qualifying for the full 7% ACA rate. The signing bonus is conditional upon successful completion of all employment requirements, including background check, alcohol and drug testing, and holding a valid Transport Canada AME M2 license.
