Aircraft Fueler - FT - Charlotte International Airport
About The Position
The Aircraft Fueler is responsible for safely and efficiently fueling and defueling aircraft and providing related servicing at the airport. The role involves performing basic mathematical calculations involving weight, measurement, and volume to interpret aircraft weight-and-balance loading instructions as they relate to fueling. The Aircraft Fueler helps maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures. The position requires a customer- and safety-focused approach, a full driving license, and the ability to lift and move heavy baggage and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations are also required. Employees must take reasonable care of their own and others’ health, safety, and wellbeing by following provided information, training, and workplace rules and procedures. The company prohibits misuse of alcohol and drugs and conducts regular testing to enforce its Substance Misuse Policy.

Responsibilities
- Fuel aircraft safely and efficiently.
- Drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
- Accurately account for fuel transactions.
- Perform daily quality-control checks on equipment.
- Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
- Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
- Defuel aircraft as directed.
- Ensure safe and secure operations in accordance with health, safety, security, and government statutory requirements.
- Comply with attendance standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Take reasonable care of personal and others’ health, safety, and wellbeing by following provided information, training, and workplace rules or procedures.
