About The Position
Menzies Aviation is hiring an Aircraft Fueler to safely and efficiently fuel and defuel aircraft and perform related servicing at Charlotte International Airport. The role involves applying basic arithmetic to weight, measurement, and volume calculations when interpreting aircraft weight-and-balance loading instructions related to fueling. The Aircraft Fueler is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure working environment in accordance with applicable health, safety, and security policies and procedures. The position requires operating fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts; accurately accounting for fuel transactions; conducting daily quality-control checks; and keeping equipment clean and functional. The role also requires working outdoors in all weather, lifting and moving heavy baggage, adapting to changing priorities, and complying with attendance standards and government requirements. Employees must take reasonable care for their own and others’ health, safety, and wellbeing. The company conducts regular testing under its Substance Misuse Policy and prohibits misuse of alcohol and drugs.

Responsibilities
- Fuel aircraft safely and efficiently.
- Drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
- Accurately account for fuel transactions.
- Perform daily quality-control checks on equipment.
- Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
- Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
- Defuel aircraft as directed.
- Maintain safe and secure operations in accordance with health, safety, security, and government requirements.
- Comply with attendance standards.
- Take reasonable care of personal and others’ health, safety, and wellbeing in accordance with provided training and workplace rules or procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
