About The Position

Kalitta Turbines is a certified FAA Repair Station and has been in the business of maintaining, servicing, and repairing TFE731 and CF34-3 engines since 1986. With an extensive inventory and expertise in turbine engines, Kalitta Turbines has the unique ability to provide critical parts and services to keep aircraft operational at all times. Requirements

Aircraft Engine experience preferred.
Experience with CF34 and TFE-731 Engines preferred
Airframe & Powerplant License Required
High School Graduate or GED
Must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check
Understand, read and write English
Reliable, punctual, flexible, motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized and able to manage and be managed
Ability to multi-task, respect, and maintain confidentiality
Service oriented and able to work at a fast pace and handle stress and problematic issues well with a good attitude
Communicate effectively and work within a team-focused environment
Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
Moderate to heavy lifting is required
Operation based in Ypsilanti, MI
There is no ability to work from home
Must be available full-time and work overtime when required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Aircraft Engine experience preferred.
Experience with CF34 and TFE-731 Engines preferred

Responsibilities

Disassemble, inspect, assemble engines I.A.W. Manufacturers Manuals.
Perform engine removals and installations on-wing.
Be proficient in reading OEM Manuals and precision measuring tools.
Perform repair processes to engine components.
