About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. The role involves scheduling, dispatching, and data processing of all aircraft flights in the AIMS system, answering phones, providing customer service to aviation students and instructors, assisting with report generation and flight training materials, and ensuring flight training documents are filed correctly. The position requires variable shifts with evening and weekend work, and availability through the summer. Each shift is a minimum of 3 hours.

Requirements

  • Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
  • 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be available to work thru the summer.
  • Must be available for variable shifts with evening and weekend work.

Nice To Haves

  • Some knowledge of aviation.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling, dispatching, data processing of all aircraft flights in our data management system (AIMS)
  • Answer phones and effectively answer questions for students and instructors in a timely manner
  • Providing aviation students with a high level of customer service
  • Assist supervisor with some report generating and preparation
  • Assist with the preparation of flight training materials
  • Assist full-time staff as requested to ensure prompt services to the students
  • Schedule, dispatch and process flights
  • Ensure that all flight training documents are filed
  • File flight training documents
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
