About The Position
Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe. Our client in Seattle WA has a new requirement for over a Dozen Contract Aerospace Designers with aircraft interiors experience for a 6 to 9 month assignment. This position is in the Aviation Division to support Aircraft Engineering Projects. The design engineer will apply knowledge of aircraft structures to perform various design tasks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years commercial aircraft interiors experience as a CATIA designer
- CATIA V5 / SolidWorks
Responsibilities
- Developing model layouts for detail parts, assemblies, and installations, LOPA, Galleys, Stowage Bins etc.
- Create parts lists or PDM Bill of Materials for details, assemblies, and modules, including CAO parts.
- Cross sectional and supplier communication may be required.
