The Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) plays a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of Canadian North’s diverse fleet, performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Boeing 737 and ATR aircraft. Our fleet includes Boeing 737-300, 737-400, and 737-700 series, as well as ATR 42 and ATR 72 aircraft, many of which operate in combi configurations to transport both passengers and cargo across remote northern regions. Working in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals and industry standards, this role involves inspections, repairs, modifications, and aircraft movements in challenging operating environments, including gravel and ice runways. ACAs are also responsible for signing maintenance releases, ensuring each aircraft is safe, compliant, and ready for service.
