The Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) plays a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of Canadian North’s diverse fleet, performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Boeing 737 and ATR aircraft. Our fleet includes Boeing 737-300, 737-400, and 737-700 series, as well as ATR 42 and ATR 72 aircraft, many of which operate in combi configurations to transport both passengers and cargo across remote northern regions. This role involves installing, repairing, and replacing the sheet metal components of an aircraft, including various structural assemblies and sub-assemblies. Responsibilities include performing complex structural repairs to keep aircraft up to specifications, fabricating replacement parts as needed, and completing sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision. The role also requires the safe use of machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work, the ability to follow directions, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand product assignments.
