About The Position

The Airborne Instrumentation Engineering Technician will develop electronic systems and components for use within equipment or machinery. This role involves supporting other engineers, applying advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. The technician will develop innovative solutions to complex problems, work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft instrumentation design, modification, or installation
  • Experience with AutoCAD software for developing electrical installation drawings, including AutoCAD Electrical
  • Knowledge of military, SAE, IEEE, and ANSI standards for airworthiness and safety
  • Knowledge of military parts specifications and ordering requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with F-15 or F-16 aircraft instrumentation and modification
  • Experience assisting with project cost and schedule estimates
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent technical communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree
