Air Traffic Control Instructor, FAA Regional Training Site, Las Vegas, NV
About The Position
SAIC is seeking experienced former FAA TRACON Air Traffic Controllers to provide ATC, TSEW, TETRA, and RTF training and instructional services for the Federal Aviation Administration at its Regional Training Site in Las Vegas, Nevada. The contractor-provided services include training and training program support to prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers, as well as support for training across all types and levels of ATC facilities. The FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current specialists to support safe and professional air traffic services. The position is on-site, full-time, day shift, with no travel. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. For FERS retirees ages 56–62, earnings received in this role are exempt from Supplemental Annuity earnings limits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of CPC ATCS experience in a FAA TRACON.
- The required TRACON experience must be at a facility equivalent to or exceeding FAA ATC Level 10.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Nice To Haves
- TSEW experience.
- Experience at an FAA ATC Level 11 or Level 12 facility.
