About The Position
SAIC is seeking experienced, former FAA TRACON Air Traffic Controllers to join their team as Air Traffic Control (ATC) Instructors. This role will provide ATC, TSEW, TETRA, and RTF training and instructional services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the FAA Regional Training Site in Philadelphia, PA. The FAA is responsible for the safety and professionalism of air traffic control specialists, and a well-trained workforce is essential. The FAA employs over 14,000 air traffic controllers who manage over 50,000 aircraft daily in the National Airspace System (NAS). To meet training needs, the FAA utilizes contractor-provided instructional services across the U.S. and its Territories. This position involves providing all training and support services necessary to train students to become fully certified air traffic controllers, covering all types and levels of ATC facilities.
