About The Position

One Way Safety, a Paradigm HSE company, is hiring an Air Technician! Join our team in La Grange, Illinois and build a career maintaining and servicing high- and low-pressure breathing air equipment.

Requirements

High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
OSHA 10 Certification is required.
Ability to pass a mandatory Drug & Alcohol Test and comprehensive background screening.
Clean driving record accompanied by a valid Driver’s License or State ID.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a plant or refinery environment is preferred (especially within the chemical or oil & gas sectors), but not required.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Clear and effective verbal communication skills.
A proactive, positive "Yes" attitude with a commitment to strict compliance with all company policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high and low-pressure breathing air equipment (regulators, airlines, reducers, manifolds, air packs, cascade systems, air trailers, and air compressors).
Process and manage all customer-related paperwork accurately following equipment inspections and servicing.
