About The Position

The Air Pricing Analyst is responsible for preparing and responding to air freight pricing requests, providing pricing support for global air opportunities, and processing agent requests for U.S. Export/Import shipments. This role involves negotiating rates with airline partners, collaborating with domestic and international teams, and maintaining pricing modules. The analyst must stay current on industry trends to support competitive pricing decisions and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years’ experience in air pricing.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sound analytical abilities.
  • Strategic mindset with strong business analysis capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related productivity tools.
  • Working knowledge of other software as needed (e.g., Cargo One, SharePoint, Outlook).
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Job may require regular and punctual attendance as well as presence on-site at the assigned work location.
  • Must successfully pass an E-Verify Check.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and respond to spot and long-term Air freight pricing requests within approved thresholds, providing best-fit solutions and market-driven pricing.
  • Provide pricing support to the U.S. organization for global air opportunities in alignment with thresholds established by Air Product leadership.
  • Process agent requests for U.S. Export/Import shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely turnaround.
  • Negotiate and procure rates with airline partners for applicable volumes within approved thresholds, as needed.
  • Collaborate with US Air Gateways for pricing in their geographical market.
  • Collaborate with overseas colleagues and agents to develop complete end-to-end pricing.
  • Maintain Cargo One and internal pricing modules to ensure accurate status updates and reporting.
  • Stay current on industry trends and Air product updates (weekly and monthly) to support competitive pricing decisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
