Requirements

  • PC literate with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications.
  • Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and process documentation for assigned accounts and input data into the system.
  • Interface with CEVA systems to provide updates and communications to internal and external customers for timely and compliant transactions.
  • Obtain necessary releases from carriers and government agencies, arrange for shipment receiving or delivery, and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Process other duties required for compliant release and timely delivery and receipt of shipments, including OGA release, cargo delivery setup, and client invoicing.
  • Perform initial reviews of transactions and advise supervisor of any problems or irregularities.
  • Provide excellent and timely customer service by proactively informing clients of shipment status, referring technical questions to the team leader or licensed broker.
  • Coordinate the release of goods from carriers or government agency examinations.
  • Ensure customer profile information is entered and updated in the appropriate company system, and prepare quotations, letters, and communications as directed.
  • Manage pre-alerts daily to monitor freight arrival and document receipt within specified time standards.
  • Actively pursue self-study and approved courses/seminars to improve understanding of processes.
  • Enhance understanding and knowledge of the established system's basic and advanced features.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
