Air Compliance Engineer or Scientist
About The Position
SCS Engineers is seeking an ambitious Air Quality Professional to join our Southwest team and contribute to exciting projects involving air permitting, compliance, air dispersion modeling, emissions testing, greenhouse gas inventories, and environmental risk assessments. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in physical sciences, engineering, or a related major required
- 3 months to 5 years of related environmental air experience required
- HAZWOPER training completed and up to date desired, but willing to provide training upon hire
- Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing required
- Basic understanding of environmental regulations required
Responsibilities
- Assistance in air permitting and compliance work, with focus on air dispersion modeling and risk assessment.
- Assistance in air quality and greenhouse gas-related tasks, including GHG emission inventories and verification.
- Air testing and monitoring
- Document preparation, calculations, and proposals related to the above-listed work
