About The Position

i3 is looking for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) TIS SW Development Team Product Owner (PO) to join our team. The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) TIS (Track Identification Services) SW (Software) Development Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO).

Requirements

• A good understanding of CID (Classification, Identification and Discrimination) used in C2 systems including IFF, ADS-B, Air Tasking Orders, and NCTR.
• Ability to provide oversight to the development team and verify the team's work based on agreed-upon acceptance criteria, including attending code reviews.
• Able to work directly with the Agile software developers.
• A bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.
• A minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
• Fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
• A US citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
• Familiarity with current CID measures in one or more of the DoD services.
• Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team.

Responsibilities

• Prioritization and validation of the development software for the TIS team.
• Identification and classification of tracks in the C2 (Command and Control) software.
• Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team.
• Work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint.
• Technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.
