About The Position

i3 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Integrated Defense Design (IDD) Team Product Owner (PO). In this critical role, you will work as a member of the Army Program Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). This position is expected to be performed fully onsite in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics
  • Have a minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above
  • Have basic knowledge of Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Command and Control (C2) and/or planning software
  • Have the ability to provide oversight to SW development team and verify the teams work based on agreed upon acceptance criteria, including SW code reviews
  • Be able to work directly with the Agile software developers
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must be a self-starter that thrives in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the prioritization and validation of the development software for the IDD team.
  • Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms.
  • Providing guidance to the development team.
  • Work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint.
  • Provide include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.
