About The Position

The AIM Administrator is responsible for the daily execution, construction, and digital verification of all AIM-related inventory activities across all locations. This role is primarily desk-based initially and serves as the operational engine behind inventory journal creation, count assignment, and compliance verification within D365.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of POS systems and applications (e.g. Epicor, D365)

  • Strong working knowledge of D365 inventory journals and systems
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage large volumes of assignments across multiple locations

  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Build, assign, and manage all inventory journals in D365 for all locations
  • Create and distribute: Weekly 100 Moving Targets counts, Weekly 10 Yard Target counts, Monthly vendor count lists, Special request counts from Purchasing, Operations, Distribution, or Risk & Administration
  • Maintain and manage the annual vendor count calendar in partnership with Purchasing and Risk
  • Ensure all counts are properly scheduled, assigned, and completed within required timeframes
  • Review and digitally verify all LPIS work from the previous day
  • Identify anomalies, trends, and inconsistencies in count results
  • Flag discrepancies and escalate concerns to the AIM Lead
  • Monitor completion rates and adherence to assigned count schedules
  • Ensure proper use of inventory journals and adherence to AIM standards
  • Maintain accuracy of inventory records through proper journal structure and assignment
  • Track completion and compliance metrics across all locations
  • Support analysis of shrink trends by ensuring clean and reliable data inputs
  • Assist in preparing data summaries for AIM Lead review
  • Act as the central coordination point for all count-related requests
  • Communicate clearly with LPIS teams regarding assignments and expectations
  • Support LPIS with clarification on count requirements and system usage
  • Route operational or performance issues to AIM Lead
  • Responsible for safe travel in company vehicles.
  • Scheduling audits, making hotel arrangements, tracking receipts, and making the best possible use of travel time.
