About The Position

The Production and Sustainment Execution CE will work closely with the Production and Sustainment CE. Together, they are responsible for the technical integrity of the delivered missiles while meeting delivery schedules and budgets. This also includes depot activities where returned missiles are repaired. Additionally, production quantities are increasing and the CEs are responsible for the integrity of additional factory and supplier equipment, streamlining tests, increasing yields and resolving test failures. The CEs are also responsible for interfacing with program and company leadership along with the 9x customers and suppliers. A successful candidate will be a self-starter with proven project organization and execution skills, multi-tasking and verbal/written communication and presentation skills and experience in a budget and schedule critical environment. Candidates should have led multi-disciplinary teams to develop solutions to a variety of technical problems of large scope and complexity. Collaboration and coordination with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management to resolve issues is a must. Qualified candidates must have experience leading multi-disciplined engineering teams, chairing Engineering Review and Configuration Control Boards, leading FRBs, and have experience in production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience as a Chief Engineer.
  • Experience working in a production environment.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplined engineering teams.
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Ability to obtain special program access after start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Leveled Chief Engineer.
  • Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations and FRACAS processes.
  • Knowledge and experience with Material Review Board, Process Configuration Board, and Configuration Control Board.
  • Experience in resolving production issues with suppliers and sub-tier suppliers.
  • Knowledge of printed circuit board fabrication and circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.
