About The Position
Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a 2nd Shift AIKI Breakdown Operator at our Ridgeway, SC facility. The AIKI Breakdown Operator is responsible for operating the automated machine that disassembles laminated sheets and plates after the pressing process.
Requirements
- Previous machine operating experience- required.
- Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication is essential.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with work instructions, work orders, and SAP- preferred
Responsibilities
- Read and verify the completion of the press plan.
- Prepare carrier plate, Kraft paper, and shims as per manufacturing procedures.
- Assist AIKI Operator in resolving suction problems, accidental jams, or downtime by troubleshooting.
- Maintain continuous quality inspection throughout the breakdown process.
- Maintain constant communication with build-up personnel for book modifications or line downtime.
- Meet daily productivity requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
