About The Position
The Breakdown Operator is responsible for loading and unloading panels from the oven for the baking process, breaking down books, inserting and removing pins, and operating the flash routing machine to edge off the finished panels. The available work schedule consists of second-shift hours (4:00pm - 12:30am); however, training will take place during the first shift (7:30am - 4:00pm).
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedure, instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Ability to understand and follow all safety codes and requirements.
- Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated
- Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
- Must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets work instructions on the traveler to verify work order number and panel quantity; ensures that all previous processes were completed, signed off and dated on the traveler.
- Helps autoclave operator to remove bag from autoclave
- Inserts pins using lam plates and removes all pins after autoclave process; loads and unloads inner layers from the oven
- Wraps, labels and stores lam plates
- Presets flash route machine and loads/unloads panels through it and then bakes panels
- Completes all documents accurately
- Performs other duties as needed
