About The Position

This position is responsible for being part of the meal service provisions provided by Dining Services. Responsible to deliver meals to patient floors as well as conference rooms, serves food to patients, cafeteria customers and catered events. Maintains proper portion control and food temperatures, operates the cash register, and exhibits proper customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One to three months to one year related experience and/or training.
Must be able to log in and check patient diets and allergies.
The ability to manage multiple projects/tasks, provide close attention to detail, work a predictable schedule, establish own goals, work closely with others, and maintain much record-keeping/routine paperwork.
The ability to constantly use repetitive finger movement, withstand repetitive twisting or pressure involving wrists or hands, communicate orally, hear conversation, use specific visual requirements, and use color vision is also typically required.
The ability to frequently walk, lift approximately ten pounds, reach and use rapid mental/muscular coordination simultaneously is also typically required.
The ability to occasionally stand, sit, lift between 25 and 65 pounds, carry approximately ten pounds, push approximately ten pounds, carry approximately ten pounds, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, repeatedly bend, and use depth perception is also typically required.
