Aide Trainee - Selinsgrove Center (2nd Shift)

As an Aide Trainee, you will be responsible and accountable for learning the duties of a Residential Services Aide and begin with a paid in-classroom and on-the-job training program. You will learn how to care for and assist people with intellectual disabilities living at the Selinsgrove Center. Upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period as an Aide Trainee, you will be promoted to a Residential Services Aide.
Requirements
- Meet the PA residency requirement
- Able to perform essential job functions
- Satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening
- Submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance
Responsibilities
- Learning the duties of a Residential Services Aide
- Caring for and assisting people with intellectual disabilities living at the Selinsgrove Center
- Travel and overtime as needed
