About The Position

Your presence with our team is very important as you provide support so that our patients can get back on their feet as quickly as possible and with as little stress as possible. As a member of our technical support team, you assist animal health technicians and veterinarians during procedures. You ensure the well-being of the patients under your care by reassuring them and performing restraints during interventions.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of animals is an asset

Responsibilities

Assist the veterinarian and/or health technician in minor procedures
Assist the animal health technician in their various tasks (restraints, blood collection, catheter placement, radiography, administration and injection of medications, etc.)
Communicate with the animal health technician about the condition of hospitalized patients
Maintain cleanliness of consultation rooms, treatment rooms, and laboratories
Assist in the preparation of analyses (laboratory)
Replenish necessary materials for the smooth operation of the hospital (surgeries, consultation rooms, treatment rooms)
Act as a surgical assistant and prepare surgical gowns
Assist the customer service representative (answer the phone, escort patients to rooms)
Perform pedicures and ear cleaning
Participate in offered meetings or training sessions, allowing you to acquire knowledge that can be useful for answering client questions and assisting colleagues
Work in collaboration with animal health technicians and assistant technicians for the well-being of patients
Perform all other related tasks
