About The Position

This position assists the teacher with instructional needs as appropriate. The aide will support the preparation, implementation, and data collection for student academic, behavioral, and functional goals, accommodations, and modifications. They will deliver these supports to students with special education services in various group settings and individually, as outlined in the IEP. The aide will also assist with classroom management and behavioral plans, maintain confidential student records, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bilingual certification required for respective positions
• College hours for Title I campus 48 required or a score of 464 on the ParaPro test or HQ Certificate from another district
• College hours, high school diploma or GED for Non-Title I campus
• Communicate and work with students
• Maintain effective working relationships
• Minimum clerical skills
• Good physical and emotional condition
• Work with confidential material
• Paraprofessional aide certificate required once employed
