About The Position

The Special Education Resource Aide will provide instructional support to students with disabilities within the Carroll T. Welch Elementary school. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and requires a daily rate of $110.40 - $133.84 for 187 work days, with 8 hours per day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completed two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education (48 college credit hours) OR Associate's degree (or higher)
• Must apply and obtain a Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (upon hire)
• Ability to effectively communicate with parents, co-workers, and students
• Ability to work well with children with disabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work well under supervision
• Ability to use computer and be familiar with word, excel, access, and e-mail systems
• Copy of High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Transcripts with (48) hours or more from an accredited college or university
• Copy of driver's license
• Current Resume
