About The Position

The Aide-Special Education Inclusion supports professional staff at Groves Intermediate. The role performs clerical duties, conducts learning reinforcement activities under the direction of a professional teacher, and provides care for students’ personal, social, educational, and health needs as required by professional staff. The aide also assumes duties that relieve professional staff and performs other duties assigned by the principal. The position is for 187 days during the 2026–27 school year and is classified as Pay Grade 1.

Requirements

• Paraprofessional Certification Training that meets NCLB requirements, or a minimum of two years of study at an institution of higher learning (48 college hours) and/or an Associate Degree.
• Eligible for state Paraprofessional Certification or an alternative acceptable to the district.
• Documentation of Highly Qualified status.

Nice To Haves

• Educational Aide experience is preferred.
