SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. The AI Tutor - Physics role supports development of Grok by providing high-quality physics data annotations, labels, and inputs. The tutor evaluates model outputs across physics subfields, identifies errors in physical reasoning and assumptions, and produces clear, rigorous solutions and explanations. This work helps train Grok to distinguish flawed or inadequately justified approaches from physically sound, logically rigorous, and scientifically accurate solutions. The role involves annotating data with proprietary software, ensuring datasets meet project standards, helping technical teams develop new tasks, and improving annotation tools and workflows. Tutors also select and solve problems within their areas of expertise, critically evaluate AI-generated responses, and guide AI models in tackling scientific problems and supporting research and practical applications. This remote role may be performed from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or India. It may be offered full-time or part-time depending on business needs and candidate availability; full-time positions are preferred and require standard business hours in the candidate’s local time zone. Positions are typically fixed-term employment contracts of six months, with possible extensions or conversion to a permanent role. Travel to a SpaceXSI site may be required. Visa sponsorship is not available. For US-based candidates, hiring is not available in Wyoming or Illinois.
